Crossroads has a dynamic Youth Ministry, active during both Sunday services and most Sunday evenings during term-time.  A great way to connect and learn about the Christian faith. If you want to know more, click above to go to the Reach Youth website.

The Young Adults Group is a place to connect with others who are in a similar life stage and drill down deeper into faith, community and commitment. Having lunch after the late Sunday morning service, a mid-week small group and off and on other activities. You are a young adult if you are (almost) in your twenties, right up to your mid-thirties and not ‘married with kids’. Contact us to get connected to this group.

“The bigger a church grows, the smaller it must become.” We offer a variety of small groups that help you build community. They are part of the fabric of Crossroads and they come in different forms and sizes. If you want to join a small group, contact office@crossroadsbasel.ch, tell us what and where you are looking, and we’ll connect you with the right small group.

There are a two regular weekly bible studies for ladies: on Thursday mornings with childcare, and Thursday evenings with a meal. From time to time there are special one-day retreats or a weekend away. For more information contact the church office.

Switzerland is hiking country par excellence and men at Crossroads Basel like to get out and hike. A couple of times per year, a hike is organised with the motto ‘I Am The Way’. We hike, we see beautiful vistas, get to know each other, talk, eat and share the Word.

Part of sharing life together is sharing ministry together. Our desire is that everyone who calls Crossroads Basel home will find a place to use their gifts. Each month we offer a special class called ‘Pathway to Ministry’ to help people get connected and find their place of serving,  To sign up for the next session email the church office.

Coffee With Kids logo

A time for pre-schoolers with their parents or caretakers on Tuesday mornings from 9:00 to 11:00 at the Church’s premises. While the kids play and have a good time with other kids, the parents and caretakers meet over a cup of coffee or tea, share about the challenges of raising young kids and their developments and look at an inspiring Bible verse for the next week. Entrance is free.

Every Sunday morning during both services, there are children’s Sunday schools for all ages. Four classes for four different age groups from 3 to 11 years old. Volunteer teachers will take your kids through the Bible and Biblical themes with the use of the ‘Grow’ curriculum. Sunday schools start when the children are dismissed from the church service, some 10 minutes into the service. For the littlest ones from 1-3 years, there is child-care (Crèche) with lots of play, a snack and a group moment and is open from before until after the church service.

Hallo Basel is space where those new to Basel can ask for help about moving to, settling into and living in the Basel area. No question is off limits! No strings attached and no fees! Crossroads volunteers answer questions, offer help or even meet newcomers to help them settle in this vibrant city.
